What is a VR escape room?
A VR escape room is an escape game played in virtual reality. Instead of a physical room, your team wears VR headsets and explores an immersive world, solving puzzles together to complete the mission and escape. At meetspaceVR the games are built for 2 to 4 players and a session lasts 60 minutes.
How long does a VR escape room last?
A session lasts 60 minutes: around 5 to 10 minutes of orientation, where our staff show you the basics, then around 50 minutes in-game. There is no guarantee you will escape in that hour. Success rates go from 95% in Christmas and 90% in Jungle Quest down to 28% in Alice in Wonderland.
How many people can play a VR escape room?
Our VR escape rooms are designed for 2 to 4 players working together as a team. You need to talk, share clues and co-operate to get out.
How much does a VR escape room cost?
Tickets cost £25 to £32 per person. The price varies by day and location, and you see the exact price when you choose a venue, date and time.
What is the minimum age for a VR escape room?
Most of our VR escape rooms are for ages 12 and over. Jungle Quest and Christmas are suitable from age 10, and the horror-themed games (House of Fear, Call of Blood, Cursed Souls and Sanctum) are for ages 16 and over. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult, although the adult does not need to play.

Do I need VR or gaming experience?
No. The games are intuitive and easy to get to grips with, and our staff help you get set up before your mission begins. Many puzzles are still challenging and need communication, teamwork and persistence. Jungle Quest is suitable even for complete beginners in gaming and VR.
Which VR escape room should we choose?
For families and first-timers, Jungle Quest (ages 10+) is a colourful adventure that is fun for all the family. For the biggest challenge, Alice in Wonderland has the lowest success rate, 28%. Horror fans can choose House of Fear, Call of Blood, Cursed Souls or Sanctum (ages 16+).
