Age Restrictions

Zero Latency

Our games are adrenaline fuelled missions into dark and strange worlds where you need your wits and teamwork to survive. We understand families want to play together and players must be over 10 or 12 years old to play, depending on the game. Our Engineerium and Singularity game are both suitable for ages 10+ whereas all other games are 12+ except Far Cry VR which is 16+ due to strong language throughout.

Anyone aged 14 or under must be accompanied by an adult. The adult is not required to play but needs to be present.

Anyone aged over 14 can play on their own but we advise there is a parent present in the venue should they decide it is not for them.

VR Escape Rooms

Our VR Escape Rooms are intuitive and easy to get to grips with but many of the puzzles are challenging and require communication, teamwork and persistence to succeed. The VR Escape Rooms can be played by anyone 12 or over although some games are suitable for 10-year-olds. The more horror-themed games are for the over 16's only. Anyone aged 14 or under must be accompanied by an adult. The adult is not required to play but needs to be present.

meetspaceVR Quest Arena & Digital Play Wall

Access to this new world of mind-blowing experiences is for everyone aged 8 and above. The main factor in this is to ensure the user can wear the headset comfortably and follow instructions. Anyone aged 14 or under must be accompanied by an adult. The adult is not required to play but needs to be present.

In General

All our games are designed to provide maximum fun with friends, you know each other better than we do. If you'd like to pop in and chat then we'd love to give you a feel for how it all works.

Waiver

If any of your guests are under 18 and their parent or guardian are not going to be present then you must ensure the parent or guardian signs our waiver before they attend, this can be completed online here or a link is provided on your booking confirmation which you can forward to the parents of all players.

If you are a parent or guardian and will be present you can sign the waiver electronically at the time of your experience. No waiver no play.

Is Parking Available?

Nottingham: We are located 100 meters from the North Car Park of the Nottingham Victoria Center. We operate outside of the opening hours of the Victoria Center and parking is available for all the hours we are open.

Wembley: We are located on the first floor of Wembley BOXPARK on Olympic Way. There is parking at the Pink and Red Car Parks which are only a 10-15 minute walk away.

Birmingham: We are located directly underneath the Park Regis Hotel on Broad Street just up from Cineworld. The nearest parking is the Five Ways Multi-story on the corner of Tenant Street and Bishopsgate Street. Our entrance is just after the entrance to the Park Regis Hotel as you walk up Broad Street from Cineworld. If you follow this directions link it will lead you right to our entrance.

Reading: We are located on an industrial estate in Thatcham. If you follow this directions link it will lead you to our entrance and parking is available both at the front and back of our venue.

Manchester: We are located on an industrial estate in Trafford Park. If you follow this directions link it will lead you right to our entrance which has plenty of parking outside.

Guildford: We are located on Walnut Tree Close, just down the road from the train station and have plenty of on-site parking just outside our venue.

Refunds and Returns

We do not issue refunds for cancellations, a change of mind, friend that lets you down or gift vouchers.

Your session is a live show, just like a show at a theatre or cinema. Refunds do not apply. We may be able to offer a game credit for use at a later date if there are extenuating circumstances.

Please contact us if you are not satisfied with your purchase so that we can resolve any problems. A refund credit may apply.

What is the dress code?

We recommend you wear light, comfortable clothing and shoes, as well as minimal makeup as it can smear on the lenses and impact your experience. Although there is no strict dress code we do not recommend wearing high heeled shoes and hats cannot be worn during the experience.

If you wear a religious head covering the headsets can be adjusted to fit although there is a limit to this so you may want to come in-store to try on the equipment before your booking time and date to avoid disappoinment.

Can I wear glasses?

Glasses can be worn in all of our experiences. However, we recommend that you wear contacts, as depending on the size and profile glasses can be a little uncomfortable with the headset in place.

Late Arrival Policy

Our sessions are booked to follow on from each other, so it is imperative you arrive on time. We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes early to get a head start on the check-in, safety briefing, and suit-up process.

We will start the safety briefing on time. Due to strict time constraints, if the Game Master has started the suit-up process by the time you arrive for your session, we cannot allow you to join.

If you arrive late you will not receive a credit or refund (just like a cinema or theatre we provide a timed live performance).

Who can or cannot play?

Players under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to play. If we decide you are not fit to play in the arena then I'm afraid you will not receive a refund or credit. There is plenty of time for a drink afterwards to boast about your skills!

With Zero Latency you will need to be able to walk around, unassisted for at least half an hour with full use of both hands.

People with vision in one eye are able to play all of our experiences.

For safety reasons anyone with the following impairment/medical conditions are not able to play any of our experiences:
Epilepsy and similar seizure disorders.
Deaf or severe hearing loss.
Broken leg or arm.

Our experiences are not recommended for anyone with the following impairment/medical conditions:
Heart condition.
Heavily pregnant.

For wheelchair users, we will need to schedule a special session with support from our experienced team to ensure you can enjoy our experience safely. Not all of our venues are currently wheelchair accessible so please get in touch with our team to confirm before booking a session.

In General

Our location provides excellent access for all kinds of requirements to get to our centre. With regards to our machines, most require the ability for full body movement and self-stabilising strength.

We will always try to accommodate as best we can for anyone who wants to visit us, so long as there is no increased risk to safety of customers or our machines.

Our stand alone VR are an immersive experience which we hope will give access to this incredible technology for the widest variety of people.

How Many People Can Play?

Zero Latency

A maximum of 6-8 players can play in a session at any one time, depending on which venue you would like to book. For larger groups, we book back-to-back sessions and can provide fun gaming activities whilst you are waiting for your group's session.

If you book a couple of tickets for a session then, just like in the cinema, other people may join you in that game session. If you want to book the entire arena then you will need to book all the available tickets for that session.

For large group bookings (over 12 people) we can create a custom schedule and provide catering, room hire and pre and post-game entertainment. Please call or contact support@meetspacevr.co.uk to discuss options.

meetspaceVR Escape Rooms

Our Escape Room games are developed to allow 2 or 4 players to work together to solve problems and escape our VR worlds. Our staff will help you get set up and make the most of your time with us.

meetspaceVR Quest Arena

We can have a maximum of 4 people playing in the Quest Arena at a time. In each 30 minute period, you will all be able to experience 2-3 different games together. Our staff will help you choose the right options and make the most of your time with us if you're not sure what to try.

How much are tickets?

Zero Latency

Our prices vary a little by game, date and time. Typically they start at £20 per session per person for a 45-minute experience (30 minutes in-game or 2 x 15-minute games depending on the game you choose). We offer a variety of options to choose from when making your booking.

We have off-peak times from Sunday to Friday and prices vary by time and location. The best place to find exact pricing for the game, date and time is to click the Book Tickets button on the Zero Latency Page.

meetspaceVR Escape Games

Our VR Escape rooms start at £55 for two players or £90 for four players. Each game lasts for an hour with around 50 minutes in-game. There is no guarantee that you will escape in that hour! There will be around 5 - 10 minutes of orientation where you will be shown the basics before your mission begins.

meetspaceVR Quest Arena

Our VR Quest Arena sessions are £10 per person for 15 minute sessions, we can have up to 4 players at a time but if you have more than 4 you can book multiple back-to-back sessions.

Private Hire Cancellation Policy

For individual bookings tickets cannot be cancelled as per our Refunds and Returns policy. Depending on the situation the date and time may be rescheduled at no fee or a credit applied to your account for future use.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your date and time. Final payment is due a week before the date of the event. You can
cancel your booking up to 14 days before the event at no charge, cancellation within 14 days incurs a 50% fee and within 7 days or no shows will forfeit the full fee. We do not accept last-minute cancellations.

If you have any issues with your booking leading up to your session, you can contact us and we will do everything we can to help re-schedule as needed.

Bookings can only be cancelled at the discretion of meetspaceVR.
