Even now, with VR made more accessible thanks to the likes of the Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR, you’ll either be playing by yourself, flailing around in your living room while trying to avoid bashing your knee on a table, or – if you’ve frequented some of the UK’s gaming bars – playing with others but tethered to a fixed spot. Gaming company Zero Latency is intent on changing all that, having launched their first UK-based free-roam multiplayer VR attraction in Nottingham in 2018 and now bringing the format to London.
Opening to the public on Saturday October 26, the new attraction at MeetspaceVR in Wembley’s Boxpark sees groups of up to 8 players take part in co-operative and competitive games held in a large playspace that allows you to freely move about, fully immersing you in the action. Read More…
